Sorry going to start with this today......I know this means we missed reporting on the Georgian and Greek-Cypriot parties
But they are probably old news now....
Okay so this being the Welcome reception we expected something swishy, posh and generally over the top.
This is what we got..........
Perfect food, plenty of alcohol, pink (not red) carpet and a great venue. And the best thing was no rain.
Okay we were worried because of the problems securing tickets and we thought that most of the press would have been excluded.
This didn't seem to happen and in fact the most important people were there (except for the ESCNation crowd sadly)
All of the delegations were brought on personal coaches and introduced to the gathered local Norwegians......we thought we were at the Oscars at one point cos the red carpet thing was taking sooooooo long
After everybody was in we had perfect Choral music, Bobbysocks and Alexander Ryback.
Great party......but we did leave quite early.......Euroclub was just around the corner and we needed to relax a bit:)))
