Highway found the second rehearsal perfect. They talked about being in X-Factor, and how it is similar to the Eurovision. It all depends on the live singing. The group talks about that they have had time to enjoy Stockholm. They like the city and would like to buy a house here - or maybe a boat. However a house costs 4 million dollars, so if they win the Eurovision, they hope, they could make enough money for a house.
Sanja tells that she is still a little bit ill. She sounds better than at the first rehearsal, but she is still not fit as a fiddle. This might explain, why I thought she was singing: "Gonna take a miracle to save my song". Sanja asked the press, which suit they prefered her to wear. There was one vote for the white suit, and a big majority for the gold cat suit.
Juri didn't tell his family, that he went to audition for a talent show in Estonia. He was afraid, that he would fail. So the family didn't find out before the live shows started. Juri's backing singers did the backing vocals for Ira Losco in 2002, so Estonia has a tight connection to Malta this year.
Zöe were asked about her dress. There is a runour, that we still haven't seen the final dress. However Zöe confirmed that the dress at this rehearsal is the one for Tuesday. After this Zöe was asked about what her Paradise is, since her song is about finding Paradise. Zöe responds that being on the Eurovision stage is her Paradise.
Minus One joking around with the manager. Telling that he whips them. The guitarist told that he took a poll online regarding what colour his beard should be. And blue ended up as a favourite. They were asked about comparison to Lordi. However Minus One don't think that they can be compared. And they don't have the costumes. But they do think, that they stand out, like Lordi did.
Gabriela confess, that the first time she heard "I stand", she got goosebumps. She was very happy with the song, and really wanted to represent her country with that song. The composers respond, that they also get goosebumps, when they hear Gabriela sing. Regarding the hopes for her to qualify for the final on Tuesday, Gabriela sees it more as a challenge than pressure.
Probably the most visited press conference of today is Russia. Filip Kirkorov said that, what we saw on stage today, was only 50 % of the show. They still have things to fix. Sergey's brand are the wings, that we see in the grafics on stage. But he also has the wings as tatoos. He says with twinkle in his eyes, that he can fly. I guess he doesn't need to learn this from IVAN from Belarus.
Serhat feels rather saticefied with the rehearsal today. Of course there are still a few things. "But that's why it's called a rehearsal", Serhat says. And Serhat is convienced it will be perfect on Monday. Serhat is used to the cameras coming from a career in television. Serhat tells, that he has friends all over Europe, and hopes for their support and votes on Tuesday.
Iveta has been really saticefied with the rehearsal today. Only a few changes in the sound needs to be fixed. Iveta also praised the Swedish stage staff for being so professionel. She does also write songs in German and Armenian. But she preferes to write songs in English. It's easier. 'But she did sing for us in both German and Armenian.
Douwe has enjoyed the first days in Stockholm. He tells, that he has been horseriding and skinny dipping. So there is a potential for a nude scandal in the press. However the horseriding story is true. Douwe says, that: "It had to be the fastes horse in Sweden".
